Here are some common questions about selling on The Platform Gallery

How do fees work?

Joining and starting a gallery on is free. After you set your price for an artwork or print, we will put on our interest and expenses and you will get the amount you listed.

For example, if you’d like to get £100 for a standard print on satin paper, the final price will be £140 in the shop and you will receive the £100. Important to note: all prices the are listed are inclusive of VAT, please keep this in mind.


What do I need to become a seller?

It’s very easy too register: choose name, tell us something about yourself, about your artworks, link your social pages so we can check your work and once we accept your registration, you can start upload your art immediately.

How do I get paid?

If you accept payments with PayPal, funds from PayPal sales on Martfury will be deposited into your PayPal account. We encourage sellers to use a PayPal Business account and not a Personal account, as personal accounts are subject to monthly receiving limits and cannot accept payments from buyers that are funded by a credit card.

Do I need a credit or debit card to create a shop?

No, a credit or debit card is not required to create a shop. We can deposit your commission directly to your bank account or if you prefer, your PayPal account.

What can I sell?

We provide a marketplace for crafters, artists and collectors to sell their creations. In short: anything that’s art.
