Description
This is a collage made with black and white prints form fashion magazines and assembled with cello tape.
The original’s measurements are 30 x 40 cm. The main print I used is a famous photograph of British model and actress Jean Shrimpton photographed by Richard Avedon in New York, 1966. Hair by Ara Gallant. This is a cubist profile portrait with a cubic beehive hair emerging in a rectangular frame.
On the larger versions you may see dust and weft of the prints used. this is intended and is part of the original work. However, the printable version have been retouched by the artist to erase some unwanted elements especially on the the hair zone.
